To get you caught up on all the excitement, we've rounded up the top stories plus included a reminder about a outage-related credit for reports.
Security Watch In response to public mis-Tweets – and to stay in line with industry standards – we added additional security-focused features in HootSuite with HTTPS and Secure Profiles for mobile.
HTTPS is a secure data-encryption setting designed to prevent nefarious onlookers from breaking into your accounts while you're hooting from public wifi. Secure Profiles (available for Enterprise teams) add a simple but important confirmation step to prevent mistakes and mishaps.
International Update  Thanks to the dedicated translators and coordinators working on the HootSuite Translation Project, we released a fully localized version of HootSuite web in Spanish and created an infographic to share all the facts and figures from these fast-growing Latin markets.
Right behind Español came Dutch and Portuguese for HootSuite mobile apps starting with Android and BlackBerry, and of course we included some interesting stats from Brazil and The Netherlands for your interest. Trouble in the Tubes The recent Amazon Web Service outage was an inconvenience for all. We're pleased that we were up and running quickly and grateful for your patience and kind words. To make up for lost time we announced a free coupon for 50 Social Analytic points(value $50) with an additional 50 points for Pro and Enterprise users.

New Shorteners In light of political unrest in Libya, we heard concerns about using the .Ly domain shorteners. So we added two new shorteners to mix: Htl.li and Owl.li from Liechtenstein. Plus we created an infographic to illustrate that your data doesn't go anywhere near Libya when using our reliable Ow.ly tools.
